FREE HUGS IN LONDON THIS SUNDAY

I’ve got this idea to make a simple little youtube video - like the kinds I’ve been making for years - that involves hugging some of you. It’s a companion piece for ‘Bloodstained Heart’ and I want to hug some people and get it on film.  I don’t mind hugging strangers, but I’d much rather hug some of you instead.  So, if you think you’ll be in London this Sunday January 28 around 3pm, I’ll be somewhere in the West End giving out free hugs.  I’ll tweet the exact location at 1pm on Sunday.  If you don’t follow me on twitter, then you should.  Very simply I am www.twitter.com/darrenhayes 

Hopefully this will be super casual (I’ll be in the West End having lunch with some friends and thought I’d stop by afterwards for some free hugs!).  It’s not a gig or an ‘event’ - just a simple idea to get some love on film.

This could be fun! 

But first, a few little disclaimer thingies -

** If you come up for a hug, please know you’ll be filmed - so you have to be ok with me using the footage.

I’m not charging and we’re not paying ;). Free hugs!

** Please don’t bring anything to sign or be annoyed at me if I can’t stop and take a picture. I’ll be HUGGING 

you - which, let’s face it, is better anyway! The point of this is not about popstars and their egos - it’s to capture some footage of one human being hugging another so please come with that in mind!

** If you think you’re sick with cold or flu, please skip the hug and just wave! I’ve got so much singing to do in the next month it would really be rather awful if I lost my voice and had to cancel VERY IMPORTANT TV APPEARANCES and it was all your fault (hehe, clever use of guilt trip here!). But seriously, please skip the hug if you’re a sickie.

** We might ask you to hug each other. So for the sake of your propspective hugger : smell good ;)
